How do I record a memo?
Tap the microphone button on the home screen and start speaking.
How long can recordings be?
There is no limit on recording length.
Why is my memo stuck on "Processing"?
Transcription requires an internet connection. Check your connection and pull down to refresh.
Can I use Kakera offline?
You can record offline. Transcription happens when you're back online.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS (iPhone/iPad):
Open Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → Kakera → Cancel.
(Apple manages all subscriptions, not us.)
On Android:
Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kakera → Cancel subscription.

Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Kakera account and associated data, email support@kakera.app from the email address associated with your account.
Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and delete your personal data — including recordings, transcriptions, and account information — from our active databases within 90 days.
The following data may be retained as required by law:
- Transaction records (up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes)
- Anonymized analytics data (cannot identify you)
- Information needed to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or comply with legal obligations
